Thelma Plum is back with the third look from her upcoming to-be-announced debut album on the eve of her national tour as part of Groovin The Moo 2019.
As with previous singles ‘Clumsy Love’ (which came in at #79 in this year’s Hottest 100) and ‘Not Angry Anymore,’ ‘Better In Blak’ is straight from the heart; an unflinching snapshot of life for the Gamilaraay musician.
“I wrote Better in Blak about my experiences with people trying to take the color from the conversation. My color is an important part of who I am, and over the last couple of years I’ve had people try and tell me “it’s not about color” when obviously to me it is.
”On ‘Better In Blak,’ Plum is once again joined by Alexander Burnett (Sparkadia, Anthony & Cleopatra) on co-writing and production.
